Who We Are

Built for Complexity. Accountable for Outcomes.

Not an NDIS Provider That Is Scaling — a Clinical Care Infrastructure Company

Nurse Aid Australia is a registered NDIS provider based in Mawson Lakes, South Australia. Founded in 2020, we specialise in high-intensity supported independent living and complex care for participants whose support needs go beyond what standard SIL providers are equipped to manage.

We work with participants who have complex clinical profiles — forensic disability, high-intensity mental health presentations, progressive physical conditions, and medically complex needs requiring nursing oversight in a community setting. Our team includes Registered Nurses, a Behaviour Support Practitioner, and trained support workers who are competency-assessed for the specific clinical procedures their participants require.

The NurseAid proposition: We train support workers to safely deliver medically complex care that would ordinarily require a qualified clinician. We wrap that delivery in rigorous clinical oversight, documented competency assessment, and organisational accountability. We take on the risk. We own the outcome.

What Coordinators Say About Us
"Support Coordinators who refer to Nurse Aid describe the organisation in three words: great staff, clinically sound, good communication."
  • We accept participants that other providers decline — because our clinical governance framework is built for complexity
  • Our competitive advantage is not our houses or our staff numbers — it is the clinical governance wrapper around everything we do
  • Every placement comes with documented competency sign-offs, RN oversight, and a structured outcome reporting commitment
  • NDIS registered and accredited — registration verifiable at ndiscommission.gov.au

✉️ Message from Usha
This section contains Usha's personal founder message — her story, her clinical background, and why she built Nurse Aid Australia. This content needs to come directly from Usha to be authentic. The questions below are a writing prompt — she can answer them in her own words and we will lightly edit for flow.
  • Why did you start Nurse Aid Australia? What gap did you see in how the sector was caring for complex participants?
  • What does good clinical care look like in practice — not in a mission statement, but day to day on a shift?
  • What do you want families to know about Nurse Aid before they reach out for the first time?
  • What do you want clinicians and referrers to know about how you approach complex placements?
  • What has surprised you most about building this organisation?
[Usha's message will appear here — 400–600 words, in her own voice, lightly edited. It should read as a personal letter to families and clinicians, not a corporate statement.]

Vision, Mission & Values

Our Vision
A full care ecosystem — not an NDIS provider that is growing
Nurse Aid's vision is to build Australia's most clinically rigorous complex care business — and in doing so, demonstrate that clinical governance is a commercial asset, not a compliance obligation.

We are building the care infrastructure that every person with a complex disability deserves access to — regardless of how their support is funded, or how difficult their history.
Our Mission
To deliver care that is clinically rigorous, individually planned, and accountable for outcomes
We believe every person, regardless of the complexity of their disability or the difficulty of their history, deserves care that is safe, dignified, and genuinely personalised.

We do not offer generalised support and call it complex care. We build specific clinical frameworks for specific participants — and we are accountable for the outcomes.
Our Values
Four principles that govern every decision we make
Clinical accountability — we own the clinical risk we accept.

Genuine personalisation — no template plans. Every participant is an individual.

Honest communication — referrers and families hear difficult things from us first, not last.

Continuous improvement — every incident is a learning event. We close the loop.
Our People

The People Behind the Care

Nurse Aid's team includes Registered Nurses, enrolled nurses, a Behaviour Support Practitioner, and trained support workers selected for both their clinical qualifications and their character. We are a culturally diverse team — multilingual, with experience supporting participants from a wide range of backgrounds.

This section should include named clinical team members with their AHPRA registration numbers (where applicable) and photos. Named individuals with verifiable credentials significantly strengthen E-E-A-T signals for both Google and AI search systems.
  • Clinical Lead / RN Lead — name, AHPRA registration, brief bio
  • Behaviour Support Practitioner — name, qualifications, brief bio
  • Any other senior clinical team members willing to be named publicly
  • Team photography — consent required from all named individuals
⚕️
Clinically Qualified
Every Nurse Aid support worker is competency-assessed for the specific clinical procedures their participants require — not a general induction. AHPRA-registered nurses lead clinical oversight.
🌏
Culturally Diverse
Our team supports participants from diverse backgrounds. Multilingual staff are available — we match workers to participants based on cultural background and language as well as clinical fit.
📈
Continuously Trained
Competency is not a one-time event at Nurse Aid. Annual reassessment is mandatory. Any lapsed certification is flagged immediately — no staff member is rostered to a clinical procedure they are not currently signed off for.
